A Message to Our ServeNow & ServeManager Customers

It has recently come to our attention that there may be questions stemming from our relationship with InfoTrack and its affiliates, specifically including OneLegal (acquired by InfoTrack in March of 2020). This message is written to help answer those questions and to provide further clarity as to how we handle your data.

In January 2021, InfoTrack, a global leader in legal technology and litigation solutions, announced that it had acquired Lawgical, which includes ServeNow, the nation’s largest independent network of process service professionals, ServeManager, the leading technology solution for service of process, and Legal Talk Network, a trusted provider of educational content to the legal industry. At the time of the acquisition it was communicated that we would continue to “operate independently” (as we have). Perhaps we could have provided more detail about the acquisition as well as to how / whether it could benefit our customers, especially since InfoTrack (our new parent company) had previously purchased OneLegal, a litigation support company located in California.

Earning and maintaining your trust is paramount. As such, we’d like to reiterate our position on data and clarify several policies that should reconfirm that we continue to operate with the same mission, to Help Process Servers Succeed, alongside the high degree of integrity which you’ve come to expect from us over the last 17 years.

First, data is a core part of our business. As such, we take great care to ensure we adequately protect yours. Specifically, “your data is your data.” Among other precautions, the confidential data you store in ServeManager is siloed and never shared with InfoTrack (including One Legal). ServeManager has attained a reputation as an industry leader in part because we set the bar on industry security measures and with our commitment to data integrity. Our commitment to you has not waivered.

Second, our ServeNow Members join the network and advertise to get online exposure and leads. We have never used ServeNow leads for competitive purposes, i.e., explicitly we have never shared leads with InfoTrack (including One Legal). In fact, the InfoTrack relationship has provided many benefits to Lawgical which pass to our clients. In an effort to continue to enhance value and innovate, we have recently started to fulfill jobs from InfoTrack, OneLegal, other process serving firms and integration partners. These jobs create significant new opportunities, increasing the work available to our ServeNow and ServeManager clients.

To be direct, any suggestion that your ServeManager data or your ServeNow leads have been used for any other purpose than to generate business for you, or that we are competing with you, is unfounded.
