Mobile App 1.22.4 Release Notes
Starting January 1, 2027, California's SPARE Act (AB 747) requires every proof of service of a summons to include a GPS- and time-stamped photo of each attempt. It also requires three attempts on different days and times before substituted service, and it shifts the burden to plaintiffs when service is challenged. This post covers each requirement and how ServeManager captures the evidence and puts it straight into the proof.
New safeguards that protect honest process servers
This release makes job management easier with sticky job headers, improved State, Court State, and County filters, and more consistent State filtering across job lists. Accountability Reports are also now free to generate, with the previous $0.25 usage charge removed.
