Zapier Client Contact ID

Advanced usage only! If you want to have the primary contact set without any further thought, just leave the "Client Contact" field empty. Close this guide and get back to Zappin'. 

However, if you want to set a different client contact than the primary, a "Find or Create Company" step should preceed the "Create Job" step. Choose "Add a Search Step", under "Client Company". This data will usually come from a Trigger like Formstack, but for the purposes of this guide, we'll fill it in by hand.

On the Create Job template, you can then use the values from the "Find or Create Company" previous step:

Select "Contacts ID" from the list of choices. This will override the default behavior of using the primary contact for the job. The end result will look something like this:
